Ignite Magazine is a publication concept born from a clear and fiery mission: to be the catalyst that sparks a creative passion in teenagers. The challenge was to design an experience that felt less like a lesson and more like a discovery, pulling young readers into the vibrant world of art and design.

To fuel this fire, the inaugural issue features the dynamic muralist Ten Hun. His high-impact art and entrepreneurial spirit made him the perfect cover star to show what a creative life can look like. The design philosophy of Ignite directly mirrors his energy; this meant developing dynamic, grid-breaking layouts, typography with a bold and rebellious attitude, and a colour palette designed to feel electric.

As a cornerstone project for my Advanced Diploma, Ignite Magazine is a showcase of a thoughtful design approach: combining deep audience research with a bold and engaging execution. It’s a complete visual ecosystem designed to inspire the next generation of creators.
